Soho Joe's took over some large premises that used to be a burger bar a few years ago and now seems quite established as a low-cost, Soho eatery. It's large tables give it a unique atmosphere
Known mainly for it's pizzas, I recently discovered they were also open for breakfast so I thought I'd give them a try.
This was a mistake.
The sausages were spongy and bland and bore little resemblance to meat. They were smothered in a particularly bad example of catering-grade brown sauce; Sour, brown slop.
The bread appeared to be a good quality baguette (it might have been passable with some butter and jam for example) but for some reason it seemed to 'react' with the horrid brown sauce and turn into a squidgy mess.
0 out of 5. Go in the evening for a pizza instead

Greetings fellow sausage enthusiast!
I'm Simon, author of the UK's second best sausage blog - Rate My Sausage!
I just found your site and like it a lot, I am DEFFO going to visit The Bratwurst next time I'm in London (is it still going?).
I wonder if you'd be open to me contributing a guest review? I'd absolutely love to write for you, and hopefully you'll allow me to push your blog on RMS?
I look forward to hearing from you soon (ish), email Simon at sausage-blog@live.com
Cheers!
Nice looking sandwich. On a recent trip to Paris I had a cured salami sandwich on a baguette which was great. Looks like your sausage sandwich here. Will have to try one soon.
The combination of sausage and bread is really good.
Hi there,
I'm so glad to have ran into your page as I desperately need your help to relocate a hot dog place for my friend. I was wondering if you know a place in London that sells hollowed out baguettes was a sausage stuffed into it, very much like the Fransk hot dog.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi Wendy. Sorry but I've not seen Fransk hot dogs on sale in London. However there are now lots of great places that sell hot dogs here. I'd suggest you friend tries BubbleDogs, Top Dog, or Big Apple Hot Dogs.
